A "free items" question
Just a quick question. I noticed someone was offering items for free on this portion of the site. Is that okay to do? I just ask as I have a few things I would like to give away to anyone that wants them. I need some space!!
Thanks. |

Re: A "free items" question
Yes, free is fine. The main reason for requiring members to be subscribers before they are allowed to sell anything is to curtail scammers. Since it's hard to scam someone if it's free, that is just fine to do...

Re: A "free items" question
You might also see about giving the items away with a donation to the board.
BTW: What you got free??

Re: A "free items" question
I'm fine with any donations one is willing to give to the board. I have (for/from an '85 C10 Silverado LWB Fleet):
A nearly new set of Husky Liners An OEM tailgate with the metal band (decent shape) Four factory wheels with trim rings, caps, and tires (fair shape) A diamond plate step bumper with the brackets to attach to the truck (fair shape) I think that's about it right now. Also, I am not really interested in shipping anything. So, if anyone is interested, a pick-up will be necessary. I can email pictures to anyone interested on Monday afternoon. |

Check out www.huskyliners.com and see the :floor and cargo liners" link. The set of two that I have is black. They're heavy and completely fit each side of the center hump. |

Re: A "free items" question
Interested in the tailgate and the bumpers. I will be moving from NC to Colorado at the end of March. Maybe pick up then?
