Re: Parting 84 GMC Suburban

webbes, can you be a little more exact? I'm not to familiar with these trucks. Are you talking about the harness from the dash to the rear of the truck? How does that come out? Where do I look for it?

by the master cylinder and steering shaft. It comes in two pieces and a bolt in the center screws it to the bulkhead that goes through the fire wire. Bill

What kind of shape is the dash pad in? Any cracks, tears or breaks? How much $$$ and will you ship the dash if in good shape?

Re: Parting 84 GMC Suburban

The dash is toast. The PO had installed a nice dash cover made by "Coverlay". If interest, let me know. Here's pics. This is in like new condition. I'm asking $25.00 + shipping. These go for well over $120.00 new.

Re: Parting 84 GMC Suburban

Don't have any experience with the overlays so can't really judge how it would fit. Is the surface a "hard" plastic feel, is it noticeable when installed that it is not OEM pad? Any idea as to shipping cost to 67152 zip? Thanks for your reply.

Re: Parting 84 GMC Suburban

Sorry to hijack, but to answer Ironhorse. I got a cover IDENTICAL to that one. It was in my 85 when I bought it. Yes it has the "hard" feel to it. It looks really clean installed (like a new dash) but it's not factory. Mine doesn't seem to want to fit right on my left corner but I'm positive I could use some type of adhesive and straighten it out. Well worth what he's asking, he's right about the price of a new one.

Re: Parting 84 GMC Suburban

Shipping to you would be around $15.00. That's assuming I can get it packed within the oversize limit. I take Paypal or Postal MO. PM me if interested....

Re: Parting 84 GMC Suburban

I am looking for the flange that goes on the top of the steering box that hooks the stearing shaft to the box. If I had to I would be interested in the whole steering shaft. There are only 2 bolts hat hold the shaft in, One at the bottom of the steering column and the other at the top of the steering box. How much for the part and how much to ship it?

Re: Parting 84 GMC Suburban

Sorry, the column shaft assembly is sold.

power2...the right side fender emblem is missing the "Diesel" name badge that mounts under the other emblem. The left side is complete. Both are in good condition. If I can remove these without removing the fenders, $15.00 + shipping. I don't want to have to remove the fenders until they are sold. PM me if interested.
