trimming the control arms on a 98
My tires are hitting the control arms with the wheels at full lock. My tire shop gave me some spacers but I was thinking about trimming the control arm lip. Anyone do this? Have any problems?

I've done it on a lot of trucks when I installed dropped spindles. Just take a grinder to the rolled lip on the arm. Keep grinding and checking periodically until it clears.
I see from your signature, you're running 17 inch wheels. Be sure and drop the spare from under the truck and mount it up. It will be smaller than 17 inch and will require the most clearance. I found out the hard way once, I also had 17's and all was well till I had a blowout and had to install the spare. It rubbed too bad to even drive the truck.
