Re: bench bleeding question
Many, Many ,Years ago i did a m/c cng. and had the same problem so i just went to the local junk yard and cut the lines off another GM make of vehicle it was so long ago i cant remember what type of car it was but they all use the same size fittings.
Cut them back about 6" and then bend them so they will go back in to the reservoir. Most junk yards wont even charge ya if thats all ya got at least the ones down here don't. Good luck. |

Re: bench bleeding question
I did the exact same thing as 87 stepper. Just get some lines at the junk yard and bend them up, around, and back into the resevoir. Then pump and pump and pump.

Re: bench bleeding question
You used to be able to buy a little kit to do this. It was sold in auto parts stores, and came with plastic fittings and lines.
If not, you could get a piece of pre-made brakeline from an auto parts store (they come flared with fittings already on). Just buy the shortest one that fits, cut it in half, and bend it to go into the resevoir. I live about 40 minutes from the closest junkyard, so I would try those two methods. Slonaker |
