spindle swaps

anyone know what it takes to install 71 5 lug spindles to 72 8 lugt a arms?

The only thing you need is to change the ball joints to c/10 ball joints and change the spindle

if your asking how to put a 1/2 ton spindle on 3/4 ton arms, i'm pretty sure that it won't work. The ball joints fit into different size holes. If you want 5 lug disc brakes on your 3/4 ton, your best bet would be to buy some conversion spindles.

You need to change the balljoints,outer tierods,& the lower a arms. as already posted, the hole in the lower a arm is larger on the 3/4 ton. good luck......Al
