high hump to modified hump...
I had a high hump in the floor for the manual tranny, but now that I put a 700r4 in I can drop the hump lower. I am looking for ideas here before I purchase a carpet kit. what do you guys think?

Re: high hump to modified hump...
I suppose you could weld a low hump in, or you could just buy a high hump with no shifter hole and use high hump carpet. Prob what I would do unless you hate the look of the high hump.

Re: high hump to modified hump...
you can bolt in a low hump. i was talking to a member that just moved into this area (stelth2002) and he said he did it on one of his trucks.

Re: high hump to modified hump...
they are stamped. you'd need to find a scrap low hump cab (preferrably a cab that's beyond repair - like rust all around the windshield and roof, etc
![]() why not give Stelth2002 a PM and ask him if i heard him correctly when he said he pulled this one off - and ask him how he did it?

Re: high hump to modified hump...
Does someone reproduce the high humps that bolt in. I think I am going to need a high hump with the nv3500.

Re: high hump to modified hump...
I bought one from the parts forum here. I paid $30 (I think) for one in superb condition - it was the auto tranny hump, so there were no holes cut in it.
$25 to subscribe and make that "wanted to buy", then $30 shipped for the hump....you'd probably pay $100 for a repop.
