Smile Hello from Korea (Seoul)

Hello, my name is Pearl. I presently reside here in Korea. I recently joined this forum. My husband owns a chevrolet pickup truck, 1985. We are in the process of fixing up his truck. I really don't know much about pickup trucks or cars for that matter and my husband doesn't speak english at all. We are also involved in the Korean Chevrolet forum. I do have a question that nobody seems to have the answer to. I am trying to buy some chrome wheels for my hubby however they don't seem to sell them anywhere in Korea and the US. The thing is, my hubby grided down the calipers from 16 inches to 15 inches so that he would have a wider choice of tires. I have looked everywhere from american eagle wheels to mickey thompson wheels. Where do I go to find a 15 inch wheel with 8 holes? We would appreciate it greatly if you could help us.

What you're looking for is pretty standard stuff.

Re: Hello from Korea (Seoul)

Welcome from the Great White North (aka, Canada, lol)!

15" rims with 8 lugs are actually surprisingly difficult to find, esspecially nice ones that are chrome! They are out there though, just need to keep a close eye on some of the 4x4 sites, where they'd be the most common.

Your best bet is probally to stick with a 16" 8 lug rim instead, there are lots of nice looking 16" chrome rims with 8 lugs

Re: Hello from Korea (Seoul)

Welcome to the best truck forum on the 'net! I know many years ago, Dick Cepek sold 15" 8-lug white and chrome spoke wheels. Good luck in your search!

Check out http://www.coloradok5.com/ They own K5s which are smaller versions of our 4x4 trucks. They are big time into modifying them there, and have tons of knowledge about the different 4x4 related stuff There is a registration fee for visting more than the garage though.

There is a 4x4 forum on this board as well
