Re: 406 Suburban at the track !!
I imagine it's not easy to get that much metal hurling down a drag strip with a respectible time. Good job! Heck it takes me 14 seconds to get my non power steering non power drum brakes manual trans truck around a corner after a stop if I have a cup of cofee with me. and probably another 14 to get it stopped from 65 mph lol. All kidding aside thats awesome.

Re: 406 Suburban at the track !!
The Sub looks great, how about putting that bad 406 into a 2wd Blazer. Half the size but mabe a little more than half the weight. Maybe 12.00 bracket. Welcome to the board, thats pretty impressive.

Re: 406 Suburban at the track !!
Welcome to the board from West Tennessee. Not bad for a grocery getter. I have a old 1977 burb with a 454 in it. Never thought about running it at the track. May try that sometime. What are you running for gears in yours?
