Thanks guys, It is a fast trac. I have talked to the fella at stc and looks like I have to send it back. They sewed the zippers in the wrong spots.

How can you tell the difference between the two? I have a black one that is not installed. It says Kaylline on the tag and STC on a sticker. I got it from the previous owner of my blazer. He bought it and never installed it. I can’t seem to find the paperwork that came with it. I’m not sure I even want to put it on, but I think it might be hard to get rid of if I don’t know what I have.

wow, they put it together wrong? That really bites!
hotrodhomi, my guess is you have a snap top. STC bought the patterns (and probably the old stock) from Kayline when they went out of business. Kayline only made snap tops to my knowledge. The fastrac top is a fairly recent product of STC. If you have a fastrac, the side & back windows zip out. In the packageing, they will be out of the rest of the top. If you have a snap top, the area below the side windows will have rows of snaps. You should also have a huge baggy of snaps to screw into the brackets that go on the bed rails, in the tailgate & along the top of the windshield. Instructions for both the snap and the fastrac can be downloaded at specialtytopco.com

Ya they put it together wrong. The Tech guy is very difficult to deal with too. I own a speed shop and am used to installing many different products. From lambo doors to rear end gears and everything between. The fella there must deal with alot of people who don't read instructions and morons I am sure. This guy treats you like a moron right from the word "I think I have a problem". I'll let everyone know how there customer service is after this whole ordeal is done. I don't have a real warm fuzzy feeling about all of this.

It gets me how assumptive people can be.Just because you`re the customer, many sellers think that means you know nothing compared to them.Otherwise, you`d be the one selling.
