Height Difference
So I lowered my truck years ago and never took any measurements before or after lowering it. I decided to swap some suspension components and lower it about an inch more. I took some measurements and saw that the passenger side sits about an inch higher in the front and the rear. I swapped the suspension components and it still sits an inch higher. Anyone else run into this problem? What might be causing it?
I also searched the forums and didn't see anything on this. If there are any old threads out there please point me to them. Thanks I have replaced all of the bushings (body and suspension) and I have DJM tubular control arms, chopped springs, rear flipped with new welded perches with 1 inch lowering shackles, cal trac bars and I removed the helper spring.

I do know that stock trucks aren't perfectly level, have you had your suspension aligned by a pro alignment shop?? I had this problem years ago when I put a 4/6" drop on my truck and it was unlevel a little bit, then I had it aligned to almost factory and it sat level. So this may or may not help.

I had the front end aligned last time I lowered it. I guess I don't understand why an alignment would change the suspension height. How would you align the rear?

You don't align the rear, but you can set your pinion angle correctly with shims.

What suspension components did you swap?
Why were your perches re-welded? "chopped springs"...did you cut your coils by hand? Are they stock cut coils?

I had western chassis lowering spindles and original springs that I cut. I now have DJM tubular control arms (3" lower arms) with the same original springs that I cut.
I had the rear flip kit but one night at the track I hooked up good and my rear twisted and ripped the original perches off. So I bought new perches and welded them to the underside of the rear axle tubes. I still have the original rear leaf springs without the helper leaf (now 4 leaves) and 1" lower shackles.
