Chevrolet C20
I am new here and I was wondering if anybody could tell me what year this truck is? I was also wondering if this truck is rare because everyone keeps telling me they have never seen a 4 door C20 like this. I might be able to buy this off my grandma. This would be my first car/truck and I could haul around all my toys! Thanks Jared

Re: Chevrolet C20
First and formost... welcome to the board. You've found the right place for all the info you'll need.
If you get the VIN off the drivers side door jamb, we can tell you with 100% acuracy as to what you have. As for the photo... it looks to be a 69 or a 70 with that grill...assuming it has never been swapped. (most likely, that's the right grill) As for rarety, you'll never get acurate numbers. That was an after production modification from a GM authorized company. Much like the camaros of the 90's.. GM never made convertables... they farmed them out, then sold them off there showroom floors. Last edited by Longhorn Man; 07-11-2006 at 11:23 PM. |

Re: Chevrolet C20
In my opinion you are a lucky man, if I had the option to buy that truck I would. I know they aren't really rare but I want to build a crew cab someday and with that pickup I would be halfway there. They are deffinetly neat pickups. Also if you could would you please post more pics of the cab inside and out.

Re: Chevrolet C20
Welcome, that is a rare one. It should be rust free if it's been down there in AZ most of it's life.

Re: Chevrolet C20
You definitely need to do the following:
1. Get Grandma to sell you that truck. 2. Clean it up. 3. Get more pics posted. 4. Use and enjoy it. Welcome to the board. Now go buy that truck!

Re: Chevrolet C20
I will buy it in a heart beat as soon as my grandma says yes. As for pictures I live about 2 hours away from it so as soon as I can get some more I will. It has a 350 in it, and yes it does have four wheel drive. This will be my first ride at the age of 16.

Re: Chevrolet C20
If you pick it that will be one heck of a first ride.

Yup it will be a sweet first ride, and a dang long one too. I don't see a McDonalds drive through in its future any time soon!
