Tire Question
I found a deal on some tires and wanted to know if I could fit them on my truck. Question is on the fronts. Can I fit a
275/45-20 on a 20x8.5 wheel with a 5 inch drop? I see trucks with 265/40 and 265/45 and there is only a small difference from the 275/45. This is on a 83 Chevy. Thanks in advance for your help.

Re: Tire Question
I don't know how much this will help, but at least your post will get bumped...
According to this tire calculator, my 255/70/15 tires are 29" tall. http://www.sccoa.com/faq/tirecalc.html I have no clearance problems with 2.5" drop in the front. Slonaker |
