Best place to buy body mounts?
I need to repalce the body mounts on the 71. Where is the best/cheapest place to buy a set? I don't really need bolts since I have a full bolt bin at work and will be doing a 1" body lift at the same time.

Re: Best place to buy body mounts?
Typicaly they come in a kit which includes the bolts... but since you're adding a 1" body lift you'll need longer bolts, which incidently come with the body kit if you go that route. That being said, I got mine from GMCPauls & they came preassembled so you know which shims, mounts, bolts, etc. go together. My buddy got his from LMC & it was in pieces so he had to refer to the catalog to get all the right parts in all the right places. Comparable prices & quality. Of course you can always go poly..........

Re: Best place to buy body mounts?
The rubber mounts (stock) come with the bolts, but the Urethane do not, so if doing a body lift, then do urethane.

Re: Best place to buy body mounts?
I have done alot of business with ORD on my buggy and was looking at there stuff. I can build my own 1" aluminum BL for about $45 in material so I will go that route on the BL and I have a good stock of bolts at work so just need mounts. I had polys on my old 83 cab truck and they worked good... too bad they don't fit the 71, I have them sitting in a box. If I could just find a place to buy only the actual mounts that would be sweet

Like stated above, energy suspension from Summit, 1-800-230-3030 and it will be the bushings and washers, no bolts.
