what newer truck rims will fit my 71
I'm looking for different wheels for my 71 4WD, 6 lug, 15". I found some off a 2000 silverado (16") and was wondering if they would fit. Also, what other years would fit. Mine has a cracked rim and the tires are shot. Any help is appreciated. Thanx.

i dunno if they have changed any, but I have a friend who tried using '93 wheels on a 74 K-10 and the bolt pattern was the same, but he hubs were bigger on the 74 than the 93, so the wheels would not go over the hubs without milling the centers out a little.

The backspacing is also different on the newer ('88 and up) wheels. It is ~5 1/2" vs. ~3 1/2" for the '87 and older stuff. My favorites for our trucks are the '87 and older truck rallys.
