Brake advice
I have been reading the posts on drum to disc conversions and am not sure which way to go. I just bought a 70 cst. Why not just put 72 stuff on it? I don't mind going to 5 lug. I guess I would change the rear axles also. If I did would it just be the spindals, calipers, rotors, MC and propor valve. I assume the control arms are the same. Any advice appreciated

72 fits well but replacement parts are more expensive. The reason to use 73-up stuff is because of the price of parts plus if you use the control arms you will have rubber arm bushing slightly better ride.

Does the 70 not have rubber bushings in the control arms? And what are the pros and cons of 5 lug or 6 lug?

I recommend the 73+ due to the rubber bushings and cheaper parts that are easier to work with. It used to be that 5 lug was recommended due to the wider variety of wheel styles out there, but not so much anymore-alot more variety in 6 lug nowdays.
