Power brake conversion
Will a 72 power brake pedal assy, including the power booster braket and linkage fit on a 68???? picture in thread http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=217818

It should if you get all of the related parts with it. (brackets, rods, Prop valve, etc.)

I installed a 72 PB setup on my 67. You can't use the round cross support rod that mounts to the firewall near the wire harness plug because the firewall is a different shape on 67-68 trucks. The Lower flat brace will work but you have to drill a hole in the floor for it at the bottom end. If you have the smaller booster [skinny single diaphram 9" or 11"] you can go without the brackets.
