frame shorten ?
I have a 68 long bed I am about ready to shorten. I know you take 12" from the center and 8" from the rear. My problem is my truck had a utility bed when I got it and it looks like someone cut some off the rear to make the utility bed fit. Does anyone have a measurement from maybe a cross member or something to the rear. Shortbed or longbed either will work. even an overall frame length. I will take what ever you can get me.
Thanks Jack |

Re: frame shorten ?
From the front of the last crossmember to the rear of the frame is 14 1/2" and total frame length from tip to tip is 199 1/2" total. Hope this helps.
