Just wanted to get some opinions on weatherstrips for my top. It leaks bad due to the absence of the driprail deflectors. Also the door seals themselves are shot on the top itself.

I was just curious if anyone has had any good or bad luck with any of the aftermarket stuff available. LMC? Brothers? Year One? any others??

the other big trouble spots would be the hatch hinge seals and the outer seal itelf. Somehow i ended up with a sweet rust free blazer with one of the worst tops ive seen. Well the rubber anyways.

Also anyone else have trouble with the single wall tops condensating real bad? I guess i cant expect much less in Oregon.... Thanks guys.

I've replaced all of my weatherstripping, it still leaks.

The market for weatherstripping on these trucks is quite small. The chances of there being multiple manufactures (at least on all the pieces) is slim. The repop products definately aren't as quality as the OEM.

I got most of mine from LMC simply because their price was about $120 less for all the top rubber than everyone else.

I got mine from lmc too...

btw evertime I remove my top I like to put a little vasoline along the windshield and bedside's so the weatherstripping doesn't stick to the metal when I remove the top in the spring. Just hoping to make it last longer.

Sounds like it's a waste of money to replace mine at this point

I have to say that it did significantly, cut down on the amount of water coming in...it just still leaks.

Hey thanks guys i kinda figured as much. But im sure new stuff although crappy will be better than nothing at all. I have nothing on the bedrails, missing the deflecors and hinge seals. So there is a SIGNIFICANT amount of h2o flowing.....

I would say I cut my h20 flow by 3/4 of what it was before.
