Drum to Disc

I’m about to rebuild my front end and would like to change from drum to disc. Any preference on who to buy these kits from?
Thanks

Re: Drum to Disc

It depends on what year and how much you want to change.

I have a '69 that is 6 lug and i wanted to keep it that way. I didn't feel like changing everything in the front, sot I went with the kit from GMC Pauls. It uses the stock ball joints an tie rod ends. Upgrading to the later stuff is a nice option too, I just wanted to keep it simple.

Re: Drum to Disc

I have a 67 C10 and will be rebuilding the front end too. I see Brothers have a kit that include ball joints and tie rod ends for about $800.

Re: Drum to Disc

From what others have said, the Early Classic kit is the best fit and the price is good as well.

Re: Drum to Disc

Do these kits make sense money wise when you start adding up the cost of the individual pieces each kit contains? The prices seems to be on the high side but I've never actually added up the cost of each component.

Amen! Early Classic for me! I had a terrible experience with CPP.
