Re: 68 Stepside Tail Light Selection?
I was planning on using 78 el camino tail lights in a roll pan on my 68 step side. The problem was that there was no room between the roll pan and the rear cross sill of the bed. If you are planning on using a roll pan, you might want to check into LED light set ups.
Some people have also used the rear bumpers from the 78-81 el camino's or malibus. Good Luck.

I have always liked this look on the step sides. A narrowed El Camino bumper looks good and has the lights built in.

I've got round led's in the fenders. I plan on going with some sort of chrome trim around them.
