400 hp and air over leaf?
Does anybody think this will be a problem? I plan on running air over leaf to keep things simple, but I also want to have some decent power as well. I will be using a mildly built 454, 700r and it will be in a 76 2wd Blazer. Any input or other ideas?

I imagine that unless you are going to drag race daily, then you wouldn't have any issues with your axles wrapping around themselves.

Re: 400 hp and air over leaf?
I can't say about a 400 hp motor, but my Ramjet 350 is rated at 350 hp and 400 tq. With an air over leaf system, 700r4 and 3.08 gears it works just fine. I don't really beat on it, but when I do gas it hard it goes sideways and I don't have any wheel hop.
How well it works depends on your rear gears and tire height too.

Buuid the 700 if you haven't already. It will stand up to 400 HP if you have the right parts.

Re: 400 hp and air over leaf?
The air over leaf kit will handle the power. axle wrap is more about how good of traction you are getting, as with any leaf spring set up you are going to have a certain amount of axle wrap. You could always switch over to a 4-link if you don't like the way it turns out.
