Re: Cam Size?!?
Need more info like what you intend to use it for? Just call comp cams, crane cams, etc. They can give you the information you need.

Re: Cam Size?!?
EVERYONE of us has a different opinion, so a call to Comp Cams or Crane and ask their experts, would be the best. Comp has people at the phones from 7 AM to 5 PM ever y work day. I took a tour of that place once and it ws impressive. I am not sure about Crane, but call them anyways.

Re: Cam Size?!?
if everything else is stock, the old Edelbrock Performer grind works great.

Re: Cam Size?!?
if you dont wanna change ANYTHING else.....your stuck to .480 lift MAXIMUM! thats the biggest lift you can go without having to swap TCs and all that other fun stuff

Re: Cam Size?!?
Everyone's right on - talk to the cam mfgrs for the right pick.
General rule of thumb with stock heads/springs/pressed studs is nothing over about .450 lift or 100# seat pressure. |
