suspenion questions from newbs...
hope i dont get flamed too bad for these questions... as i told another member, our strength is jeep/toyota 4x4 builds.
looking to get the stock suspenion in better shape to do us for now... will go IFS down the road. i was thinking better spring pack and even a shackle reversal(front). reason for shackle reversal.... better ride, its easy (we do on CJ's YJ's and FJ40's all the time). what do you think??? would like to keep stock suspension for now to save money for 4link/MII rear axle... PO put an S10 axle under it. think i should leave for time being (which we are thinking about doing) or get rid of early on. going ford 9" down the road. right now priority for us is cutting our all the bad sheet metal (floor), getting the truck rust free/under primer to include the frame, then engine/tranny...wiring, get it driveable, then start replacing things like, running boards, tail gate, fenders, chrome pieces and get ready for real paint job. thanks in advance kyle/ryan Last edited by 52streetrod; 01-03-2007 at 11:42 PM. |

Re: suspenion questions from newbs...
plans sound good for the front end...
although for the rear end, i would suggest putting the rear end that you want to use with your 4 link out back if you're going to swap anything in at all.
