Reverse Leakage?
Ok, so after the 3rd try, I got my drivers rear to hold air (or at least it has for over an hour, new record there).
So I went out to check pressure and what was 70/70 front, 70/70 rear has become 70/75 rear. My passenger rear seems to be inflating itself! These are brand new valves, what the hell? I only have about 100 psi in the tank, but the passenger rear is slowly creeping up. Is the fill valve not closed all the way? |

Re: Reverse Leakage?
That's the only way the bag can receive more air.

Re: Reverse Leakage?
Is there anything I can do short of replacing the valve? Cycle it a few times or something? I'm now afraid to fill my tank to 160 (140/160 pressure switch). The bag is rated at 180psi, but I sure as hell don't want to roll with a corner in the air.

Re: Reverse Leakage?
So without adding additional air to the tank, I cycled the valve a few times before I went to bed. I left the leaky corner at about 40 psi and I don't think it got much more than that this morning. I may be out out of air in the tank though.
When I get home tonight, I will add some air to the tank and cycle it again if everything else is holding. |

Re: Reverse Leakage?
i have ad a leak up also depending on the valve you could have a problem with the diaphram not sealing compleatly or you could have some debre stuck in it so i would fill the tank up to 160 175 and then hold dump valve open so that bag wont inflate then while dump is open open fill valve and its will blow strait out do that and see if it helps
