Take Two....
Yet another 3/4 ton GMC in my yard...
Just picked it up for $100 bucks. Has a good running 307 2 barrel with 350 trans. Clean body only a few dents in one quarter panel. It will definately need a new seat cover and dash pad for a clean interior. Maybe clean up and put a new paint job on it or just drive as is. Gotta love these old trucks = No second morgage required to have these babies! Chad

Re: Take Two....
What's that blue stuff all over that brown paint job?
No seriously, THAT is a real find. Looks like a new bumper. Maybe some other newer parts in there? Any serious rust?

Re: Take Two....
All Origional parts, I purchased it from the origional owner. No accidents, No rust I can find yet except surface!!!! Clean cab corners - frame cab supports - fender wheel wells. Just some drilled out doors from numerous mirrors used over the years.

"Gotta love these old trucks = No second morgage required to have these babies!"
That's what I tell people...You can get it looking and running good for the same amount most would pay in taxes for a new one. The popular trucks around here are at least $40,000, at 6 3/4% sales tax, that's almost $2800. That doesn't account for registration and full coverage Ins.

Great deal on that truck, are those pictures recent?
There is an awful lot of green leaves in Oregon and in January?

Re: Take Two....
o.k., you guys forced me to up my bid, i'll give you 250.00
that's one hell of a deal in my opinion--you don't find those every day. i think my best deal was a 72 super 3/4 ton 2wd, it had a 402, turbo 400, tilt, am/fm, cruise,p-s, p-b and a-c, it ran and i drove it home for 500 bucks. the body was total crap--even had bondo behind the seat above the gas tank from a prior rearender i guess, the frame was bent bad but the motor/trans and options were good money makers.

Re: Take Two....
Clean it up , paint it , new interior and trim and call it a barn find. make up a good story about the "one" owner "all" original truck and try and sell it on ebay for $20,000 . That's what everyone else is doing.

Re: Take Two....
Actually I took the pictures in October but they didn't want to sell it then. Now they are short of cash so it forced the sale. I started asking them about in earlier this spring.....
Like the shots with big wheels!!! Looks nice sleeper = with a BIG Block! Umm Hummmmmm Have a great weekend and happy wrenching ! Chad
