Need a measurement.
Can someone that has a roll bar installed measure the distance from the leading edge of the roll bar top to the edge of the windshield frame? Also need to know how far from the edge of the bed your roll bar is setting back. I think mine needs to be around 31", but there is a large difference between driver and passenger sides. I need this to get the windshield square and get the windshield installed. Thanks, Jeff.

Re: Need a measurement.
Like this...I don't need a pic though. Just the distance.

Re: Need a measurement.
OK, I measured mine for you. Since the frame is roundish I couldn't get an exact measurement, also the rollbar is not perfectly square. So I measured from the center of rollbar to the center of frame (the center of frame has a bump for rearveiw mirror) it came to 31" exactly. I also measured where you have it in the picture and it was about 30 1/4" but passenger side was closer to 30 1/2" hope this helps ya'

Re: Need a measurement.
Most roll bars were not factory installed so you can have all sorts of differences. Also if your front fenders --clip--doghouse--is not installed and aligned correctly with the doors closed and aligned nice--you can get a false reading. Without the front clip and no top on, a windshield frame and firewall can sag --even with good floors and torque boxes in place!!!! Without a top on, I would go from the top edge of the tailgate to the rear most edge of the windshield frame for a more exact measurement. I went through all sorts of this problem with a poorly set up pass rear quarter and measured till my fingers got numb!!

Re: Need a measurement.
Thanks guys, I'm just trying to get a ball park figure so I know how long to make the struts going from the roll bar to the windshield frame. I'll be able to shim it either way to fine tune the door gaps. Appreciate you taking the time rat! Thanks, Jeff.
