Talking Unstable Frontend suspension

This is more of a comment than a cry for help. I've been driving my truck for a while now, but every time I drove it on the freeway it felt like I was going to lose control. I recently took it for alignment and they found one of the tie rod end to be loose. They tighten the tie rod and did the alignment. After they completed the alignment, I immediately took my truck on the freeway test drive. And all can say is Wow. What a big difference.

Yeh my 70 is that way right now. It feels like if you let go of the wheel it will just turn on it's own. I will be dropping it in the next few weeks, rebuilding the front suspention and changing out all steering componets then off to the alignment shop.

You mean they aren't suppose to turn on their own.

Yeah, I thought the 'assist' in Power Assist Steering was just that.

Re: Unstable Frontend suspension

If a Lexus can park itself, my truck can take it's own left hand turns. I didn't even pay extra for the "feature"
