vent window seals
Have any of you put new seals in your vent windows? How big of a job is it? Do I have to remove the entire assembly from the truck? I've had the kit for over a year now for my 63 and am finally getting around to installing them. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: vent window seals
I have done alot of them. I always remove the frame cause it looks awfully hard to do one on the truck. Squishing the new rubber into the frame would be hard still on the truck. The hardest part to me is reinstalling a new rivet. I generally do not use the installation tool they sell. I use a series of punches to form it. Everytime i ever used that tool I smash the rivet.
