gas tank filler location - license plate
I have seen several threads on locations for filling under the bed tanks, and some very nice indeed. What I would really like is a flip down license plate like some old cars but without having ever done this, I am already thinking that would be too low? What are some other ideas or threads? I have seen the marker light and the bed stake.

I'm thinking on the same. Qksilver is checking on a '67 Mustang gas tank for fitment and flip down plate filler~~I'll PM him again.

Re: gas tank filler location - license plate
the probleb with a filler like that is the top of the tank has to be lower than the filler/ that would place the tank completely below the frame rail and in plain sight and on lowered trucks real close to the ground

Re: gas tank filler location - license plate
I had a bud who bought a truck with a tag filler. He claimed it worked fine but I never saw him fill it. He has since sold the truck so I'm not able to get any more info on it.
