I Did It Now
i was trying to put in my new rear axles and i manage to drop the gears that are held in by the pin . man no matter what i try i can only get one in and not the other . help guys ,i'm stuck .i should of had my rearend back together and my tank mounted . help

I'm guessing it's the spider gears inside of the open carrier your talking about? The two little ones?
Basically for those, get one to fit in and then spin it around so that it is directly on the other side and then put the second one in and then rotate them both with your hands carefully so that they line up with the pin hole. It took me a few tries before I was able to get them to line with the pin as I was off a tooth in one direction or the other. That's funny cuz I just had to do this last night. Do what leftcoast said, and be patient. It took me a few tries, but after about 15 minutes I got it. It's one of those jobs where a third hand would be nice. |
