ebrake cables
my brother just got a 80 gmc k15 4" lift and 33's
looks like the ebrake cables are too short now from the lift. anyone else have problems like this? do u need longer cables? or make a new bracket?

Re: ebrake cables
You can relocate the brackets so the cables from the backing plates will reach them. Be sure to allow for axle droop/ articulation. Back the adjuster all the way out, and if the cables won't reach, cut the "flat U" cable connector in half and weld metal in to join it back together, lengthening it. Or scam a couple more "U'" pieces from a parts truck & weld them end to end.

Re: ebrake cables
I think the "U' part could be better described as a "double J".

Re: ebrake cables
ya well when its up on the hoist at full droop, all the brake lines are too short.
so hes getting stainless extended hoses front and rear its just the ebrake situation now
