20 inch tires 65 chevy truck
I have 20 inch rims and tires on 65 truck they are 255/45r20 my truck wanders and hard to steer I was told by tire man I need a higher tire the whole front end is new any help.

a higher tire I have never heard of a higher tire maybe it is a fire STONER? JK. I dont think that will do it. Do you have power steering ? That would help in the steering. Your putting on a bigger widder tire that WILL affect how it steers, a manual box will make it harder .I would sugest a front end allingment,check your shocks as well as any loose front end components and make sure the wheels are ballanced.

It has power steering,all front end is rebuilt, I had it laser lined up now it is worse I took it to a country bumkin he said they did a bad job on it,he sayshe measured the distance between two front wheels in front and rear of front wheels 1.5 inches difference, in other it is pigeon toed like I do not what to do now

Take it back and tell them to do it over untill they get it right ... I never liked those big wheels on trucks .. Or cars for that matter too...
