4x2 to 4x4 frame holes????<><><><><><
So I'm still giving thought to making my 63 a 4x4, and I was wondering if the holes for the front spring perches are drilled into every frame or just 4x4 frames? If my 2x4 frame has the holes for the perches that would be one easy conversion???

Re: 4x2 to 4x4 frame holes????<><><><><><
By looking at my 61 GMC 4x4 frame, I'd say they are different. I have a friend that is building an original 60 something GMC for a lady that I can go look at if that would help. The only way that could be to your advantage is if you were using the 60-66 vintage 4x4 parts. If it were me I'd use 73-87 4x4 parts for a conversion. Better parts availability and IMO a little better design. Or if you're real ambitious you could build a custom link suspension.
