Center Caps for "Merlot"
Ok, Ok, Ok, some of you have suggested I run the Corvette Rally's on "Merlot"
So now you all have to help me pick out the Center caps for it, I'm stuck Center Caps Linky > http://wheelvintiques.com/shopsite_s...ml/page84.html *This is a Multiple choice poll so you can vote for ALL of the ones you like. Here are my wheels, they are Corvette Rally's, 17 x 8, 4.5 BS, and Silver PS - Is $30 ea. bad for used 17" tires? My buddy's shop has some nice ones.

Re: Center Caps for "Merlot"
I had to go with the 1012 A Derby caps craig, I think those are the SWEETEST looking centers for rally wheels no matter what they are on. If I get some rallys that is what will be on them!

Re: Center Caps for "Merlot"
Just out of curiosity, what would the 73-up Rally's on "Merlot" be worth? (Don't really see a point in starting a WIW thread) I need the $ for Rubbers (For the 17" Rally's)

Re: Center Caps for "Merlot"
1026 FTW! (for the win!) Here's my reasoning:
My first instinct was in line with the rest of the voters- 1012A derby w/Bowtie. Upon further consideration, I realized that your Blazer(Jimmy) is A)NOT a Camaro and B)a unique looking vehicle. To hell with convention- do something different and memorable. This will also go very well with the roofrack/surfer theme IMHO. My two cents. Take it for what it's worth...

I hear ya, well they came WITH the deal, I looked them up, & the PO spent close to a grand on them with the trim rings. (Unless they were on sale at some point when he ordered them) & I don't have the funds at this moment to get what I really want. ($3850 for just the wheels no tires for the rims I really, really want. And no I can't tell ya what they are ) So it was buy some centers caps, some rubbers, and run them for a while, or sell them which won't really get me that far towards my new wheels

Re: Center Caps for "Merlot"
What about the 1020-C? It's going to end up with an old school look with the surfboard rack, right? Although, if they ae going to be semi-temporary (a couple of years before you can afford the other wheels) the derby caps would probably make them easier to sell when that time comes.

Re: Center Caps for "Merlot"
I don`t like to tell people what they should do.If I told you,it would be one I don`t like so yours would be different. If I did say,I`d say put`59 Rambler Ambassador full wheelcovers on it.

Re: Center Caps for "Merlot"
Dude sell those things and get the 159.00 dollar centerline specials and then some cheap general 20" tires. Sell what you have and that should help fund some of that.

Re: Center Caps for "Merlot"
Can't, I don't care for the "Specials" styles, plus if I go bigger I am going
with a staggered set, but I do appreciate the advice you have given me.

I have the tall ones in right now, I'll have to ditch the inners fenders to do 20's on all 4 corners. But if I stay with a staggered set like 18/20's instead then I can still cut that cup, then it can still be driven completely aired out. At any rate, it's going to be 17" Vette rally's until further notice / "GQ" sells. *Edit - Hey D, why don't I just make her into a 4wd

I still don't know, waiting on a E-mail from Wheel Vintiques about the trim rings, I had a few questions
*Edit - Just checked my E-mail and the rings are SS, so that might eliminate some choices
