72 Lwb C20
Just picked up a 72 LWB for $450. She's not too pretty to look at but for $450 and she runs...can't really beat it. Going to need total reconstructive surgery to maker a head turner once again but can't complain...quick question tho...to get her going with an auto you have to put her in first then ease her to second and third then drive and she's good...anyone else think it's clutch linkage? All input is appreciated she's going to be one helluva project and you guys are going to be right along with me for the ride

What kind of tranny do you have? Auto or manual. If it's an auto you may wanna check your vacuum to your modulator (it's on the pass rear of the tranny on a TH350). If it's not getting vacuum it will not shift correctly when you put it in drive, but will shift out manually.
