what adhesive to use with weatherstripping?
i just bought a set of weatherstripping for my doors on my 72 cheyenne. what would be the best adhesive to use to glue them into place? i have a tube of 3M super weatherstrip adhesive (yellow). will that suffice?

Re: what adhesive to use with weatherstripping?
I'd recommend the regular (not super) 3M weatherstrip adhesive in black. I've used the super before and it is made to dry faster. If you've 4 arms you can probably make it work, but the black is also an advantage in case some of the glue squeezes out behind the seal.
Also, I found it helpful to use clothespins to hold the seal in place while I was positioning it.
