'92 Gmc Suburban
I recently pickedup a '92 4x4 1/2 ton suburban. It doesn't have the motor, trans, or xfer case in it. It is short other parts too, but if anybody is looking for something specific let me know. If you would be kind enough to list what your offer is for the part, that would help me out on pricing.
It has the best steering wheels I have seen for one of these models, and I have 8 other trucks around to compare it too. Just to start: 350 ecm can provide numbers if needed: 50 + shipping 88-94 Tilt steering column automatic (tight tilt controls): 100 + shipping I have pics of most parts (did miss several pictures here and there) at google.com: http://picasaweb.google.com/thefrank...mcSuburbanPics I am going to be in Colorado Springs from Monday 5/7/07 to Thursday 5/10/07. I should be able to respond, but I don't think my wife will want to pull and ship stuff. |

Re: '92 Gmc Suburban
I'm interested in the cruise servo, gauge cluster (if it has a tach) & the DRAC module that goes with it, and possibly the front seats & belts. Do either of the front seats tilt forward far enough for access to use in my '88 extended cab?

Re: '92 Gmc Suburban
On the bumper, do you need brackets?
No tach on this one, the seat is like others in xcabs, but I will check how well it works. What is a fair price on the servo? |

I am not able to get a good shipping quote for this, everything is coming back too expensive for me. Did you have any luck on this?

Re: '92 Gmc Suburban
Ok, for the bumper I would want 80 + shipping. I will pull it off this next weekend if you still want it, and ill be for sure to check it over real well for any kind of rust issues once I have it pulled.
On that note, the reciever hitch is gone, sold locally. All parts are for sale that you see on the suburban, except for the rearend/frontend. They are 3.73s that are going to be spares for my '95 suburban. To jeffspower> I did not get a chance to go check the folding mechanism on the passenger seat today. I will check on it as soon as I can. If all is to your liking on it, I would like somewhere around $250 for the seat plus shipping. I figure 25+ the ride for the cruise control module would be good for me. |

Re: '92 Gmc Suburban
That will be a go on the cruise servo. I hope it's good & not dead like mine. Let me know on the seats. Where are you in NW ARK? I have a friend that gets down that way often.

Re: '92 Gmc Suburban
I can test it on my suburban before i ship it off, that will be no problem. I am about an hour away from Fayetteville to the west, thirty minutes from Harrison to the east. I frequent Branson and Springfield Mo also.. As a matter of fact i am flying out of Springfiled in about two and a half hours from now

Re: '92 Gmc Suburban
Hopefully i can get some kind of weight/measurements friday/saturday to get some kind of estimate of shipping for you.
Other then the front seats, if there is no other interest in interior parts by Friday, i am going to be taking some of those parts to ebay. |

Would you need just the base dash plastic and not the harness etc? I am not for sure if anything pre - 91 on the harness side will fit correctly for like the instrument cluster plugin etc. Are you wanting the headlights and the turnsignal lenses? The headlight lenses are a little foggy, are you going to need the harness for them also? |

Re: '92 Gmc Suburban
I'll see what my friend at work says tomorrow about picking up the seats. I think he goes down to the Harrison area regularly.

Re: '92 Gmc Suburban
Yeah that is the one I am talking about. I will have to search for the rear flares, I have recenetly seen them i believe. I know that they are the burgandy type color, came off of a 90/91 model truck. I plan on taking off half a day tomorrow from work, and i can search when i get home, or saturday one for those flares.
Pricing parts with out the deflector obviously and the flares, $25 + shipping. I will post here as soon as i know about the other. |

Re: '92 Gmc Suburban
I would really like to keep the door panels together if at all possible, what kind of value are you putting on these parts? I haven't tore a suburban down to the point of pulling out the harness like you are asking before, might be a bit of a learning curve on some of that
What kind of parts do you have that you would want to trade? |

Re: '92 Gmc Suburban
Quote:
The wiring harness is pretty easy from what I remember. Remove steering column. Remove the screws across the top of the dash(5 or 6 I think). Remove the 2 bolts on the bottom sides of the dash so that the dash will now swing down on your lap. It is now very easy to unplug at convienence center. Across the bottom of the windshield, there are clips spotwelded to the firewall. Bend them down slightly to remove the harness. In the door jamb, pull on the rubber boot to remove it from either the door or the jamb, pull wire from the jamb towards the door & unplug. As far as the doorpanels go, I really only need the drivers side. The other 3 are just added weight. I have 95+ door panels for the rear already and the pass front I have 5 or 6 of them laying around. How much do you want for the set of 4 door panels and how much do you want for the harness? You can call me on my cell phone if you want... (856)294-7535 Thanks... Joe
