Interior custom ac pics
A few pic of a VA Gen II Compac installed into my 65. Welded up the dash and installed the controler and vents in dash for an OEM look. Not that hard of a modification and system will freeze you out which makes the adjustablility of the electronic controled system perfect to adjust the vent temp to suit.
I'm not too good @ the post pic thing so if I screw up, help me out if you can.........Thanks, Mark |

Re: Interior custom ac pics
Iron Butt...picked up the parking brake handle @ a swap meet for 5 bucks......guessing it came from a import??
Revn67........The shifter wasn't in sync with the trans....call to Lokar tech dept and had a simple fix....re-arch the shift rod and re-adjust....works perfect. Other than that no problems with the shifter. Volvo Matt.........Don't want to know...or my wife to know either. Learned a lot building it and have a blast driving it around...just cant pass too many gas stations. M Last edited by coolair; 05-29-2007 at 06:54 PM. Reason: spelling |

Idanny - here is a straight on dash/gauge shot. They are Classic Insrument gauges purchased from RB's Obsolete in AZ. A few shots of the engine compartment also........

Re: Interior custom ac pics
CoolAir where you at in Texas? I'm assuming central/eastern? I was over at my cousins near Taylor and that looks like the same cornfield!! BTW, that truck is awesome. I love it, and I'm a '67-72 convert since I bought my panel.

Re: Interior custom ac pics
coolair, the truck looks awesome. i just got my truck and one of the more pressing issues is the AC. i really wanna be able to cruise around in town with my son, but he is a baby, and he definitely needs the AC. where did you get you system. what was the cost if you dont mind me asking? also, i dont have the same big beautiful motor you have, mine still has the I6, so will a system like that still be compatible?? thanks in advance!
