I wouldn't think too rare, that was the base model. Lot's of businesses bought them for shop trucks and I am sure lots of people for run-around trucks did too.
My '87 is essentialy the same truck but with a 4.3 v6.
Is it the three speed with granny low or the four speed with overdrive?
