SWB Fleet patch panels ??
I have come across a pretty much all original 72 SWB. He is asking 1500 for. The lower part of the bed right infront and behind the whell are rusted through.
I see in the parts catalog that they sell patch panels for these areas , How hard of a job is it, fitting these in ? Thanks, Zac |

Re: SWB Fleet patch panels ??
Pretty straight forward as panel replacement goes.To do it nice, you should use a step-flanger.It puts a step in the edge of the body where you cut it.Then, you overlay the replacement panel into the step. The step stiffens the metal there and gives a flush lap.You also get somewhere to let the weld lay in.
