Engine Swap
I have a 85 c10 and I want to do a Engine swap.
Should I either do a Ls1 or 5.3L? I pretty much know what all I need. Dakota digital gauges, new a/c comp, new sending unit for the gas tank, etc.. What motor mounts should I use? S&P is the only I know of. |

Re: Engine Swap
for gauges you can get a set for a 89-91 suburban,1-ton crewcab or a blazer they had electric drive speedos in them that will work with the ls1 swap
welcome to the board by the way! Last edited by longhorn71; 07-31-2007 at 09:21 PM. |

Re: Engine Swap
If u really want performance than go with the ls1 if u want a bit more affordable mild peformance then go with the 5.3.
