Rust Bullet or Por-15 or ???
Looking for some input on Rust Bullet or Por-15 or any other products anyone has used on their frames. I have done some research and Rust Bullet looks like it requires less prep but only comes in silver, so I would have to go back over it with some black, but Por-15 sounds like it will fade if a top coat isn't applied, so it sounds like they would both be about the same for application but less prep for Rust Bullet. Any info from personal experience would be appreciated.

Re: Rust Bullet or Por-15 or ???
Just a thought - but you could save some cash and try another alternative that seems to do a good job as well...and for quite a bit cheaper.
Mind you - I haven't used this product yet, but other forum members have and it appeared with great success. It is from PM Industries - here is the link to the post about it and pix of the product being used...link to post And here is the company website - www.nomorerust.com If I ever get this far in a tear down of the Blazer - I will be using these products on my frame, etc. Hope that provides another (cheaper) perspective. Good luck - and whatever you do - take pix and share with the group. |
