?POR-15 before spray in bedliner

I'm in process of fixing all my floor pans right now then will get the whole inside Rhino or LineX. Should I POR all the bare metal parts first or does it matter?

Re: ?POR-15 before spray in bedliner

i know most all bedliners suggest painting before bedliner spraying// the thing about por15 is with regular paint theres a problen with the paint adhereing to por15 unless you use the por15primer// what i do with por15 i paint the por15on then when its still tacky about 3/4cured i spray epoxy primer on to assure a good bond for the primer to the por15

Re: ?POR-15 before spray in bedliner

I did POR-15; Por Tie Primer; Overspray from body primer and body paint; scuffed it up really good with 80 grit then sprayed in the bed liner and I am happy with how it came out. Time will tell how it lasts though; that was only two months ago.
