Crew cab owners
I was just curious how many 73-91 crew cab owners we had here.
I have a 89 crew cab 4x4 with a 6.2 diesel and a 4 speed. |

Re: Crew cab owners
I have an '89 crew with a 454/ turbo 400/ and 4:10 gears. This thing needs a small block and a overdrive transmission. Gas is killing me. By the way OJOE,... your truck is the reason I am building one. I now have a 1/2 ton frame for the rear clip swap. But, still looking for a short fleetside bed. Post up some pics of yours to get me motivated.

Re: Crew cab owners
I have an 83 crew cab dually. The 6.2 let go so I'm currently replacing it with a 454. I'm looking for the alternator, power steering and A/C brackets. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Crew cab owners
No pics yet, but i had an 87 with a 6" lift, 400 sbc, and a turbo 400. The other is a 90 dually with a 454, turbo 400, and about 3 mpg. (that is real. no exaggeration.) And i drove it 50 miles a day for two weeks in the beginning of senior year.

Re: Crew cab owners
Hi all, I am new to this site. Dont own a crew cab yet, but I am looking into building one in the near future. Toying with the idea of building a crew cab with either a stepside bed or a short bed.
I own a bunch of chevy/gmc trucks including a suburban, 2 k5 Blazers, caballero, and my daily driver 2500hd. Love the old body style and think it would be really cool to see a truck like that lifted up in the air. What do you guys think and have you seen anyone do this yet on here?? i would love to see some pics of what it would look liike. thx |

Re: Crew cab owners
I plan on buying a crewcab soon if I can find one around here that's decent, probably an early to late 80's dually.
