Water pump Pulleys?
Are there differences between small block and big block water pump pulleys? The fan studs are slightly off.

Sounds to me like your putting a long pump where a short used to go.
Some of the cheaper replacement pumps are drilled for both, but the better ones are not. |

The water pump is off of a 90 model 454 and I am not for sure if the pulley is off of a sbc or bbc. It is not off by much you can see over half the hole.
