Air Bar or CPP rear suspension
Just wondering who out there has used either one of these setups and which one you guys would recommend. Has there been ant issues with either? They are almost the same price, so thats no factor.
Thanks for your opinions. Darren

Re: Air Bar or CPP rear suspension
I don't have any first hand experience with either, but if they are the same price, I would no doubt go with air ride. They are a suspension company vs cpp trying to sell everything under the sun. Plus you will probably get better customer service from air ride. Some of there guys are on this board... to promote their products...but nonetheless they are here.

Easy there little buddy....... I actually visit and browse these boards because I like to and I like to help out when I can. Pimping on boards is not something that is outlined as a requirement in my job description |

Re: Air Bar or CPP rear suspension
Good thing for the board members that are Air ride dealers. I ordered a setup through Nathan at Porterbuilt. I hope its as nice as everyone talks it up to be.

Re: Air Bar or CPP rear suspension
Im not building the usual slammed vehicle. I want to have the ablility to go down, but Im not going to massively alter the inner fenders. From what I have heard Air Rides system is the best available for handleing in a lowered vehicle., and the setup looks freaking cool!

Re: Air Bar or CPP rear suspension
If handling is a 'want', I would definitely look into the Air Ride set-up but not necessarily the entire 'kit' (unless you need everything).
If money is no concern, the 'kit' is straight forward & professional looking. If you're a blue-collar guy, the factory stuff combined w/the right ART stuff yeilds the same results for alot less dough.

Re: Air Bar or CPP rear suspension
The AirRide Technologies kit would be a better fit for your application if you want the adjustability factor. Both companies make great products, however the CPP verison is gear for static drops, and the ART is strictly designed for air use.
Some of the ART guys do check the board here and would be able to answer any of your tech questions. Good luck with the project.
