Didn't do much with my truck, got the cab back on the frame, along with the front end. Other than that, I've been printing shirts day and night.

Re: Another edition of "So what did u do this weekend?"

I just finished installing a fresh rebuilt 305 into My 63 c-10, know I can get back to working on my 83 GMC 3/4 ton plow truck (I hate installing new brake lines).

Nice work! Gee and all I did was change the oil in the wife's van and hardwire her Garmin Nuvi.

I touched my truck, drove it to the gas station and filled it up. Along with my 69 Impala and 70 Monte Carlo. With news of $90 a barrell oil fresh in my mind, and with the weather finally changing around here, I like to keep 'em full. My Impala mankes me sick, the gas gauge will read full and it'll still take 13 gallons

Didn't even get a chance to so much as look at the truck. Worked all weekend at the base airshow.

Re: Another edition of "So what did u do this weekend?"

Well I had to make an emergency trip to Idaho, so I thought i would hit the junk yards to see what they have, big waste of time their, WAY over priced. Then when i got home, the wife and i took out the Z28 to find the rear end trashed, the boy took it for a joy ride, cant blame him too much, if i was at his age and had access to a car like that i would have taken it too.... can you say Ferris Buller.... LOL....

Re: Another edition of "So what did u do this weekend?"

It was a good weekend. I was finally able to get back to work on OLRED66. I had to put the project on hold for the past 5 months, due to being out of town on work assignment. It was good to get back to work on my '66 Chevy C20 Custom Camper. I hope you were able to work on your project this weekend also. Enjoy the photos.

Is that a booster bolted to a stoke cylinder? Mine looks just like that, without the booster, lol...

Brad:

Good morning and thanks for the inquiry. The picture is a factory power brake booster on my '66 Chevy C20 Custom Camper. This was a factory/dealer option available on the '64-'66 Chevy trucks. I have several trucks with the factory power brakes. This is a very nice upgrade for the standard four wheel drum brakes.

Re: Another edition of "So what did u do this weekend?"

Those are clear lenses with red LEDs in em, got em from lmc, go right into a stock socket. My wiring was gone, so i just spliced mew wiring into em, and taped off the connector.

LILRED, thats pretty cool, i think i might end up looking for one of those, ive got all drums and its ok, but needs a little more i think. Nice trucks by the way, i love em...
