Time to play "name that part..."
Anyone have any idea what these are? They are two identical extremely rusty brackets, but where do they go? Thanks...

I say a bed support of some sort, nothing like that I've seen on a frt end/floor area.

that metal bracket that bolts to the bottom of the fender.

Those two brackets secure the bottom lip of the grille support to the underside of the radiator support. Without them, the grille support is a bit flimsy.
