Finally the headers are fitted and now
it is time to detail the engine. That is silver duct tape on the headders so I did scratch the bajeebers out of them when putting them in for a test fit. Now I get to pull it all apart again.. Oh the joys of building..

Re: Finally the headers are fitted and now
Curious - looks like you used the rear 2 holes on the frame - have you had any clearance issues with dist. cap at firewall? HEI or points?
Also, looks like your frame may have been trimmed a little at the motor mounts - has it? I ask because I'll be tackling this same install later this winter. |

Re: Finally the headers are fitted and now
I used those same engine mounts. I used the stock manifolds instead of headers. I did not have any clearance problems with the hei.

Re: Finally the headers are fitted and now
Wow! For a big block, I see more ease at getting to those plugs and header bolts then I have on my small block. Looking good.
