Other style tail light lens?
Are there other tail light lens available for a fleet style bed that are red in color but have a different diffusion pattern? I'm using led panels for my rear tail/brake/turn lights and the oem lens' work but the pattern in the plastic is really designed for a single bulb... And I'm not real interested in using a clear style lens.
Thanks, donovan

Re: Other style tail light lens?
I have the LED stock replacements Musclerodz sells. They are awesome the diffusion pattern matches the led bulbs.

Re: Other style tail light lens?
There is a pretty good article in this months Rod and Custom about how to cast your own. It looks pretty easy and they tell you where to get the materials, You could use your old one as a model and create an custom insert...They do not have a link to it from the Rod and Custom Website, PM me if you are interested, I am sure I can find a way to get it to you...

Re: Other style tail light lens?
Seems I saw an article one time or another in which someone used the prismatic diffuser from a recessed ceiling light fixture, behind the lens. Nothing different looking until nighttime, as I recall. If it works, it should be easy to get a panel from an electric supply store, or Home Depot, Lowe's, etc.

Re: Other style tail light lens?
I used the above to make my front turn signal lenses. $1.44 for a 24" x24" sheet of light paneling stuff and I only used a corner for some quick and cheap clear lenses. Could be used behind a red lens, or shot it with a transparent red to diffuse correctly.

I have the LED conversion from LMC truck it is really nice they fit under the stock lenses. They have 20 LEDs with the "rapid fire" braking.
